School-aged children and special-needs individuals who live in Oak Creek Valley are welcome to join us.
We take a holistic approach to learning that is experiential, personalized, teacher-guided & self-guided, community centered, strengths-based, and interdisciplinary. We use a head and heart integrative approach for social and emotional learning. Our multiage group allows students to help each other which enhances mastery among the learning areas.
We have specialized teachers for one-on-one tutoring and coaching in specific academic areas, music, art, electrical, woodworking, outdoor skills, mentorship and more. We regularly get the students together for group projects, games, collaborative music, outdoor adventures and field trips . The students primarily use printed workbooks and texts and some may use Christian curriculum. We use digital compliments such as Lexia Core 5, Mystery Science, and Khan Academy.
